  Cleaning Your Vase

When your candle burns down to about 1/2" from the bottom of the vase, it is time to clean it out.  Check the vase for any cracks.  Then grip the vase firmly at the bottom and run the fid (basically a nylon stick) or a soft plastic scraper around the candle to loosen it.

Maintaining Your Candle

Vase Candle Inserts are designed specifically to be burned in Vase.

The wax of this candle is extremely soft for a better fragrance throw and easy removal from the Vase.

Always burn a Vase Candle Insert in a container.  If you do not have a vase, just use a coffee cup that fits snuggly around the candle.

If left to burn on a flat surface or in a shallow dish, it could be a fire hazard.

Vase Candle inserts have self-trimming wicks for a better burning candle as well as for safety.

Never leave your burning candle unattended.

Safety Hint

Of course, when the holidays arrive, you want your house to smell good.  If you have a tea light burner, you might want to consider putting it into a real clay flower pot while you burn it.  The flower pot may offer an extra form of fire safety (it is easy to get distracted and forget about your burner - especially during the holidays).  The flower pot also helps to hold any wax spills, keeps the flame away from drafts and it makes the burner easier to move to a new location if you need to.

The wax should come right out.

Because there is fragrance all the way through the candle wax, just put the left-over wax in your tart burner.

This will give you an extra 10 to 20 Hours of fragrance for your home.

Nothing goes to waste.
